Bringing a client’s vision to fruition is our passion and our latest project is designing a custom desk that goes from sitting to standing at the touch of a button. Standing desks are trending in the workplace but you might be surprised at what you find when you start searching your favorite retailers. A number of great options pop up from Knoll, Herman Miller and the like, though they felt too institutional for our client's everyday home office.
Office spaces are a prime example of where form meets function and our Senior Residential Designer, Tricia Luong, got to work researching the mechanism for standing desks and drawing custom designs. Finishes and upholstery fabrics were presented to give the desk a masculine, modern look with enough durability for everyday use.
