Bursts of Color in Beacon Hill

We were delighted to be featured in the summer issue of Modern Luxury Interiors with our downtown Beacon Hill project. Our clients’ oversized abstract art in a vibrant turquoise hue provided the perfect inspiration for a family room in the clouds.

People often ask us where the design process starts and in this case the story began with our client’s art collection. Fine art provides the perfect dose of color on the top level of this Beacon Hill brownstone used for family gatherings and entertaining. We kept the sofa and walls neutral to let the artwork have centerstage, then added accessories like pillows, throw blankets, and glass vessels for pops of color.
